The citizens of the financially underprivileged of the world are like all of us here in the U.S.: they want the very best for their children. They are aware that the only way to rise out of their life poverty is through schooling. Every country we go to has this as a common thread, and we love the hearts of the parents for their children.
In Uganda, we felt a special call to help them build a school, a really good Ugandan school: out in the middle of nowhere! It is difficult to get there, it is difficult to get building supplies there, and it is tough to work there.
Nonetheless, God has called us to share His love with the parents and their children, so we are currently in the process of building a school complex, side-by-side with the local men and women---and sometimes with the help of the children---in the remote area near Kabacheriya and Kaplobotwo (K & K). Building a school is one thing, supporting it in an ongoing manner is another.

Not too surprisingly, students across the globe need similar tools in order to have a successful learning experience. KMI is currently seeing to it that these needs are being met. Student desks, tables, chairs, blackboards, chalk, books, pens, pencils, paper, computers (and the list goes on) all need to be provided.
Impoverished nations have this in common with first world nations: good teachers are a must for good education. KMI has worked hard to maintain the staff that the school needs in order for the students to receive quality learning. The administration, teachers, and support staff are dedicated to the learning of the students.
After years of growing the students up -- over 500 students -- Amazing Grace Schools are now very solvent and successful. The Uganda national testing results came out in February 2023, and our kids scored VERY WELL!
Primary-7 Students: 25 of 26 passed the tests
Secondary Students: 16 of 17 passed the tests
This is our first S-4 class of students to take the exams, so we are very proud of them. Some of them will go on the "A" level school for grades S-5 & S-6. Some will enter vocational courses of their choice. Either way, the Lord is providing them with opportunities they would not otherwise have had. Thanks to the many of you who support our students!
Students in Uganda need to eat lunch just like kids everywhere. We provide them with local food, prepared on site each day, so that the children can concentrate on learning and not be wondering where their next meal is coming from.
