About KingdomWork

The Lundys

D.C. Lundy has been involved in short-term missions for many years. His experiences have taken him to Mexico, Liberia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Mozambique, and Uganda, and he is now a full-time, short-term missionary, having retired from public education after serving for 38 years as a P.E. teacher, elementary teacher, and administrator.

Pam Lundy, a nationally certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, has been a PNP since 1977. She has served---and continues to serve--- the Central Oregon community in this capacity. In addition Pam has provided medical care to children in Mexico, Liberia, Tanzania, and South Sudan. Pam is also a Board member for KingdomWork Ministries International.

Pam & D.C. have four grown children, and three grandchildren. They live on a small farm in Central Oregon, where they raise cattle, a few sheep, and ride their horses in the sagebrush and juniper covered desert. They lead worship at their church, and serve on the Global Outreach Team. D.C. & Pam live to glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in every way.

KingdomWork

KingdomWork Ministries International
Serving Christ Wherever He Calls.

What unofficially began as “L & L (Lord and Lundy) Ministries,” in 2011, officially became KingdomWork Ministries International (KMI) in 2012. KMI is a United States government recognized non-profit under section 501c3 of the IRS tax codes. KMI is financially accountable to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the Oregon Department of Justice, the KingdomWork Ministries International board of directors, and ultimately to the Lord our God.

Projects

Everywhere KMI goes the Lord puts some sort of project on our heart. It could be shoes in Liberia, or Milk in Uganda. It might be walking sticks in South Sudan, or possibly snakebite surgery in Tanzania. Whatever the case--- wherever the location---KMI seeks to know the desire and will of our Lord, and then follow through. Finances, although a necessity, are never allowed to be the primary determining factor: the Word of God is always our guide.  God truly answers prayer, and through prayer we seek His will only, not ours.

KMI Organization

Even though the ministry is often called ”KingdomWork Ministries International” with D.C. Lundy, he will be the first to tell you that KMI succeeds as the Lord leads the teamwork of he and his wife Pam. Pam is a nationally certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and together, the Lundys---who have hearts for the poor, the widows, the orphans, all children, and those who suffer from hurt and injustice---continually seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. .

KMI Board Members

From the beginning it was D.C.’s vision to have a Board with a broad base of skills, abilities, and churches. His preference is for both husband and wife members. This allows for both the male and female perspective, and gives married couples the opportunity to pray together, discuss together, and share together both at home, and at the KMI Board meetings. KMI’s Board brings expertise from the world of business, engineering, missions, education, art, medicine, bookkeeping, construction, and administration.

Our Staff

KMI has no paid employees. Funding comes to KMI in three categories:

  • Monthly Support,
  • General Fund Support,
  • Designated Support.

Monthly Support

The Monthly supporters are folks who believe in the ministry and pledge monthly donations for the cost of travel for D.C.; this support pays for four ministry trips per year for D.C.

General Fund Support

General Fund support comes from donors who like what we do and want to donate to the ministry and ask us to use the funds as we see fit for the Kingdom.

Designated Fund Support

Designated Fund support are funds given to accomplish a specific project or task. 100% of funds are ALWAYS used toward the area of designation.

Statement of Faith

The Lausanne Covenant

KingdomWork Ministries International has adopted the Lausanne Covenant, a highly recognized statement of faith established by the Christian community world-wide, as the KMI statement of faith.

The Lausanne Covenant helps clarify the Christian principles, guidelines, and beliefs by which KMI can determine “True North” at all times.

Ministry Values

1. KMI exists to serve Christ by helping people rise out of poverty. Poverty is as much a state of mind as it is lack of resources. Living the Gospel through long- term relationships models a lack of poverty, and a partnering hand instills personal worth from God.

2. KMI enters into partnerships with people only after much prayer and deliberation.  All partnerships start small and slow, and build as the relationships and trust builds.

3. KMI desires to work itself out of a job. Local sustainability is always a major goal.
